Abstract
Ali Watad's doctoral dissertation (Tel Aviv University, Dept. of Hebrew Language, School of Jewish Studies, 1999), in four volumes, editing and studying the lexicon Hameliṣ attributed to Pinḥas Hakohen ben Yosef Harrabban (14th century) — a bilingual Samaritan Hebrew–Arabic dictionary. The dissertation served as the basis for the scholarly edition of the work later published by the Academy of the Hebrew Language.
